Professional Experience

I have over 6 years of diverse therapeutic experience working with individuals, families, teens, persons struggling with addiction, sexual assault survivors, and persons with traumatic brain injury. I am presently engaged in a PhD program in clinical psychology, with an emphasis in neuropsychology, expanding upon the skills I gained in my masters program. Presently, I have published and am writing subsequent research regarding stress; general or “global” stress and its effects, as well as stress within couple and family dynamics through cortisol levels and brain response.

Some of my earlier therapeutic experience includes music, equine, sports, and even “garden” therapy with disadvantaged youth. As I like to say, I came by this industry honestly, working my up through increasing levels of responsibility and through a number of different roles. These experiences lead into my clinical training, as I desired to learn more and to be able to do more.

Prior to starting my private practice, I provided counseling services for River Bridge Regional Center in Glenwood Springs, CO.
